Although this disorder can occur at any age it primarily affects women (20 – 35 years of age) Aggravated by sunlight, cosmetics, soaps, it typically starts around the mouth, chin and nose, and then gradually spreads to the lower eyelids. The skin appears to be pale red with a slight scaling and small pustules. Very mild itching or burning sensation can accompany it.
