Gynaecology & Fertility Community Clinic - Acupuncture

It can take up to 3 months to treat many menstrual disorders. With weekly treatments this can prove to be costly and time consuming. Fertility treatments are generally done in courses of 3 monthly cycles.

The aim of the  Community clinic at the Fitzwilliam Health Clinic is to provide acupuncture at an affordable price.

This Community clinic offers treatment at a reduced cost using acupuncture, electro acupuncture and cupping & moxibustion (if required). Patients are given private consultations in a separate room before being treated with acupuncture in the multiple bed community clinic. Privacy is maintained by screens between the treatment couches

Providing multiple treatments to a number of patients in the treating room allows patients to be seen more than once a week if required and at a reduced cost to make subsequent treatments more affordable. 

What to expect:

To protect patient confidentiality, all consultations are conducted in a private room.

 The initial consultation and treatment will take an hour your condition will be discussed at length, tongue and pulse diagnosis are also taken.

 Subsequent treatments will take 30 minutes. Before each treatment there will be a small consultation in which the tongue and pulse will be examined. This consultation takes place in a private room.

 Fees and duration:

Initial Consultation Fertility: €65 (duration - 1 hour)

Subsequent treatments : €40 (duration - 30 minutes)
